Here at the Windlestrae we say no to smoking!

The Scottish Parliament passed legislation to protect people in Scotland from the harmful effects of passive smoking.

This legislation came into effect on 26th March 2006 and smoking is no longer allowed in enclosed public places such as hotel bedrooms, Rushes Bar, The Fairway Restaurant or any of the function suites.

It is an offence to smoke or knowingly to permit smoking in any areas of The Windlestrae Hotel and we ask for your co-operation in complying with this law.

External smoking areas can be found outside the main entrance to the Hotel and signs and cigarette ash bins are provided.
