As the name suggests, The Boathouse Bistro is right on the edge of Loch Leven at Kinross Pier, just a 15 minute stroll from the hotels. (Kinross Pier is also the departure point for boats to Castle Island.)

Take your pick from an enticing menu of hot and cold meals and snacks or simply enjoy a drink from the licensed bar, or a freshly made tea or coffee on the decking, as you take in the majestic views of the Loch.

Other attractions to look forward to this coming season:

• From Saturday 31st March 2012, the Carvery at the Bistro will be available 7 days a week costing £8.95 per person (until then, the Carvery is available on Saturdays & Sundays)
• From May 2012, there will be a fabulous Barbeque in operation on the Bistro decking beside the harbour together with live entertainment on the 1st and last Fridays of the month.
• New menu launched on 29th March, 2012.
• Kids' Offer : a new Kids' menu, free balloons and drawing pack
